New Bunny and Charlie's Birthday!

Hey friends! So here is the new bunny! His name is Tobie. He is not the same bun in my previous post. I actually got this bunny from a dear friend who rescued him. He was found in a park in Chicago. Poor little guy. His breed and age are unknown. My best guess is he's 2-3 year old Havana rabbit. I would say Satin but he's not exactly the size of a Satin. He's the sweetest bunny. He's very affectionate and loving. He recently got neutered so we will give him a checkup at the vets soon. I have a really great vet. She's worked with bunnies her whole life and she does a great job. I'm glad Tobie is in good hands now. He can finally live the life he deserves.

It's Charlie's 2nd birthday today!! Hoppy birthday Chuck! We will be having nana cake and lots of nommy veggies. Yum!!

New Year... New Bunny?

Hello friends!! I finally decided to get back into blogging again. I'm so excited to hear how you all have been doing. I'm so sorry I ditched this blog a while back. I just got so busy with school. Now that I actually have time to post, I will be blogging again.  I don't think I ever posted about my bunny Gracie, so I will do so soon. I'm also excited to announce I will be adopting another bunny soon. I'm waiting for him to be neutered. I can't wait to meet him this weekend! Here is a picture of Gracie and the new bunny. I'm thinking of naming him Tobie. Thoughts? Anyways, new male bun and Gracie will be a bonded pair. I really want to try and bond all four at some point. My friend who is a breeder of Mini Lops offered me one of her babies. They will be weaned this summer. Hopefully I will have enough room for all five. Have a great week guys! I will be posting again soon so stay tuned!

Understanding a Rabbits Language

Hey Guys! Sorry for the lack of posts lately! I have gotten a job, combine that with school, and my schedule has just been sooo crazy! I'm working on getting a camera and a Macbook for my new Youtube Channel that I will be making hopefully soon. I'm hoping to have everything ready by January so stay tuned for updates on that. Anyway, today's post will be on Understanding your rabbit's language. I didn't go into detail about each type of behavior so if you want to read into detail I will leave some links below. Enjoy!

Different Types of Bunny Behavior

Binky = Extremely happy bun

Bunny 500 = Happy bun/Playing around

Chinning = marking territory

Licking = sign of affection

Lunging = sign of disapproval

Thumping = Anger/Scared/warn others for danger

Here is some links to help you further. I hope you enjoyed this post!
